MD of BAE Systems Air awarded CBE in King’s Birthday Honours

Cliff joined British Aerospace Military Aircraft in 1984 and has undertaken a number of senior management roles across our Company. Before his current role, Cliff was Managing Director Submarines within the BAE Systems Maritime Sector, after completing a 15 month secondment with Rolls-Royce Nuclear at Derby.

The commendation recognises Cliff for his significant contribution, throughout his career to the defence sector and his leadership in overseeing critical programmes for the Armed Forces and UK allies around the world, including Hawk, Tornado, F-35 and Typhoon. As well as working in the air domain Cliff has spent a number of years working with our submarine business on Astute and Dreadnought. These roles saw Cliff lead teams right across the UK, including Warton, Brough, Barrow and Derby, as well as internationally.
