AURION MACHINING TECHNOLOGIES www.aurion.fi has developed an ionised air cooling and lubrication system, which eliminates fluids and oils used in parts machining operations and also improves parts quality and reduces unit cost. We are excited to invite North West Aerospace Alliance members and their Operations, Manufacturing Engineering and Procurement colleagues, to an AURION ionised air machining demonstration at the NIKKEN Innovation Centre in Rotherham UK on Tuesday 17th September, 10.00am until 12.30pm. We will be machining a representative range of aerospace and other industrial parts on a Doosan long bed milling machine, with the Liquid lubrication system switched off.
