ATH NDT LTD Expansion

2023 has been a busy year of expansion for the team at ATH NDT. Alongside the usual level 3 consultancy for our existing 14 companies that we are responsible level 3 for, endless NADCAP audits and on-site level 2 production the team have taken the decision to expand to larger premises.

During this expansion ATH have developed and installed a new top of the range electrostatic penetrant system with carbon emissions at the forefront of the design. Given the challenges faced globally surrounding the need for businesses and individuals to reduce their carbon footprint we have designed our new system with this in mind.

Featuring a state-of-the-art Siemens touchscreen interface, LED lighting through, modulating burner controls, variable speed drives on extraction motors and upgraded insulation to improve heat retention on the oven this is one of the most environmentally friendly penetrant lines on the market.

This coupled with the expansive processing capability meaning that larger volumes of parts can be processed per run makes for the perfect harmony between production efficiency and environmentally friendly.

As a further part of the company expansion ATH NDT’s sister company Craven NDT has also stepped into a new world offering hard and soft anodise in both natural and black dye varieties as well as Surtec 650 conversion coating for aluminium.

ATH NDT is going from strength to strength and have taken on two new members of full time personnel plus are looking to employ an apprentice on the BINDT NDT apprenticeship scheme.
