AMRC Northwest is a high value manufacturing catapult centre undertaking world leading research in advance manufacturing.Working with manufacturers of all sizes to de-risk the adoption of new technologies which will improve productivity and competitiveness.We have circa 500 engineers working within various research disciplines including casting, machining, design ,additive manufacturing , battery joining techniques, robotics and automation, digitalisation of manufacturing , composites , 5G and low carbon smart building technologies. We have over 120 industrial partners ranging from large manufacturers such as BAE systems , Boeing, Airbus and Siemens to smaller SME manufacturers.The AMRC is not sector specific and works within any manufacturing sector.
