Delkia showcases experimental emergency response aircraft at Security & Policing, the Home Office’s premier security and policing event, 11-13 March 2025

Delkia will be attending the Official UK Government Global Security & Policing Event and showcasing an innovative, experimental air vehicle called Teneral – when the event returns to Farnborough International Exhibition and Conference Centre from 11-13 March 2025.

Launched in early 2024, Delkia’s Research, Development and Innovation team have recently completed testing of Teneral, as part of Project Dragonfly. This experimental aircraft has flown as a tri-copter and as a hybrid tilt-rotor/plane.

The hybrid configuration offers huge potential for use by the emergency services due to its vertical take-off & landing and hover-on-station capabilities coupled with the extended range afforded by the wings.

Pete Hudson, Delkia’s Head of Research, Technology & Innovation, said: “This is an exciting moment to take Programme Dragonfly to the Security & Policing Event and speak with members of the emergency services, to better understand their operational requirements. We can then continue to develop, adapt and scale Dragonfly capabilities based on their needs.

“For example, a future Dragonfly air vehicle could act as a first responder, surveying situations before emergency services attend a scene. It could ultimately play a part in revolutionizing air support for blue light services.”
