The Lancashire Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing (AEM) Watchtower project support AEM businesses identify organisations needs and offer tailored, coordinated business support and help to engage with the right support.
The programme includes:
An intelligence function to identify and protect Lancashire’s key aerospace assets and businesses.
A talent retention service to help people who have lost skilled jobs in Engineering and Manufacturing to find new work.
Support for businesses to find new contracts which fit their manufacturing capabilities nationally and internationally.
Support for businesses to innovate, for example, developing new products or new ways of working.
Meet the team at our next event run by the AEM-Hi Lancashire consortium, involving the Community & Business Partners CIC, Northwest Aerospace Alliance and Aerospace Consulting Ltd to deliver a variety of support to Lancashire based SME businesses within the Advanced Engineering and Manufacturing (AEM) sector, thanks to a £1mil investment from Lancashire County Council.
